Service History Check owners manual intact and scheduled servicing has been completed
Accept without owners manual or service history - note if missing or incomplete
Vehicle Keys & Key Pads Check for two sets of keys and remote key pads (if supplied as original)
Accept with 1 set of keys and 1 key pad - note if 2nd set missing
Equipment Check that all equipment supplied with, or fitted to the vehicle is intact and functioning. Includes stereo equipment, tools, spare wheel and tyre, cigarette lighter, knobs, badges, mudflaps etc.
Replace missing, damaged or non functioning items with original equipment
Windscreens, Glass, Lights, Lamps & Refletctive Garnishes Must meet roadworthy standards
Replace as necessary
Carpets, Upholstery & Interior Surfaces Check for burns, cuts, tears, holes, discolouring, stains, fraying, worn parts, adhered foreign substances, distorted, cracked, mis-fitting or poorly repaired parts
Repair or replace as necessary - accept wear and soiling due to normal use
Tyres Check all 5 tyres are roadworthy, or the same size and rating with a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm across the tyre face with no damage to sidewalls. Retreaded tyres are not allowed.
Replace as necessary
Wheels & Wheel Trims Check for cracked, bent, broken or disfigured parts. Must be a matched set as originally supplied.
Replace as necessary - accept minor scuffing and scrapes
Underbody & Exhaust System Check for crushed, bent, impacted, poorly repaired, modified, mis-alligned, rust or corrosion affected parts
Repair or replace as necessary
Cargo Areas Commercial Vehicles Check for structural damage, holes, major dents or paint damage
Repair or paint touch effected areas - accept chipped paint, dents or scrapes due to normal use
Foreign Matter Check for any paint defects, oxidisation, acid or chemical stains, foreign material or poor previous repairs
Allow marks up to 10sq cm per panel - maximum 3 per vehicle
Painted Panels & Bumper Bars Check for chipped, scraped, scratched, crushed, bent, impacted, hail damaged, poorly repaired, modified, mis-aligned, or rust or corrosion affected panels
Paint an/or repair if necessary - accept all stone chips to paint work - accept minor surface defects which may be polished out or paint touched Allow minor dents, scratches, scrapes and scuffing as detailed below (depending on vehicle kms reading). Dents up to 20mm diameter which do not show a defined crease line. Scratches up to 25mm long x 1mm wide. Bumper bar scrapes and scuffing up to 25 sq cm.
Up to 50,000 kms 50-100,000 kms 100,000 kms plus
1 dent per panel - 6 per vehicle
1 scratch per panel
1 bumper bar scrape/scuff
2 dents per panel - 6 per vehicle
3 scratches per panel
2 bumper bar scrapes/scuffs
